Introducing Our Lifting Sumo Deadlift Bar (Strong Arm Series) 


What is a "Deadlift" bar and why would you need one?
If you are really
serious about entering an elite-level lifter status and pulling past 600lbs, 700lbs, 800lbs, or more. A deadlift bar will be an essential ! 


The Difference; 

- More flexible; 
considerably more flexible than a moderate power bar. Deadlifting on a regular bar means pulling from a "dead" start. Basically, pulling from 0 to 100% of the weight at once. As you perform a lift, the centre of the bar will rise 3 or 4 inches before the weight proceeds to elevate.This is followed by the inner plates to move first along with the outer edges to follow suit. Which leads to an advantage, a smoother lift, better weight progressive acceleration, and overall more weight being lifted. 

- Bigger weights!We found our athletes to increase their pull around 40-50lbs more with our deadlift bar, in comparison to a standard bar.  

-Thinner; In comparison to a Power Bar. The average standard Power Bar is around 29-30mm. Our 'Sumo Deadlift Bar (Strong Arm Series)' is 27 mm. This allows for your hands and fingers to better wrap around the bar. This is intriguing to our double overhand "hook" grip lifters.

- Longer sleeves; In comparison to a Regular Bar. The longer sleeves allows for a greater amount of plates to be used. Especially important if your gym isn't using competition plates ! (regular plates are thicker)


- Knurling; where you need it, not where you don't. Sumo deadlifting is gaining major popularity in Powerlifting. So, why are 99.9 of bars used by sumo lifters are made for conventional deadlifting? Which forces lifter to accommodate their grips on the smoother areas of the bar. We establish a solution and designed a bar with knurling in the middle and no knurling on the area where it slides against the leg. So, if you are a sumo puller, this is the bar for you!

"Well I won't competing with this bar, so why use them?" 
-Noted point but don't we use boards and blocks? Whether its bench, squat, or deadlift. Accessories like block pulls, pin-presses, strap use, band training, chains, etc. are always implemented in training regimens. Non of this are legal in completion? This bar will just be another tool in your arsenal of training methods!
